Ernest S. Arvai

Ernie is CEO of The Arvai Group, Inc. and has more than 30 years experience in management consulting. Formerly Vice President and Managing Director - Technology Management at Battelle Memorial Institute and formerly a Director at Arthur D. Little, Inc., Mr. Arvai has extensive experience in consulting to senior executives.

He specializes in strategy, corporate development and market related issues for clients in the aviation and travel distribution industries, and is widely recognized as an expert in aircraft and aircraft valuation. Mr. Arvai is frequently called upon for expert testimony on aircraft and aviation related issues.

Mr. Arvai holds an MSIA degree from the Tepper School at Carnegie-Mellon University and a BSE in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a Certified Public Accountant, an instrument-rated pilot, has appeared on business oriented radio and television programs as an industry expert and has been quoted in the Wall St. Journal, New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today and other leading publications. Mr. Arvai has also served as adjunct faculty and taught Strategic Management in the MBA program at Daniel Webster College.

Bill Juvonen

Bill has extensive experience in the corporate aviation marketplace, and more than 35 years experience in aviation. He was formerly Chairman of Flight Services Group, Inc., a major corporate aircraft operator based in Stratford, CT, which he co-founded in 1984. That company became a leader in corporate fleet management, with more than 30 aircraft, and was subsequently sold to PrivatAir.

Prior to founding FSG, Mr. Juvonen held a number of positions in marketing new corporate aircraft. He began his career at Pan American World Airways, where he was sales manager for Pan Am Business Jets and was instrumental in introducing the first Falcon Jets in a joint venture with Dassault. He later moved to Cessna, where he was Sales Manager for the introduction of the Cessna Citation business jet. After his success at Cessna, he was recruited to Canadair, where as Vice President of Sales he introduced the Canadair Challenger. He subsequently moved to Polaris Aircraft Leasing as Vice President prior to founding Flight Services Group.

Bill holds a BA degree from Stanford University and received his flight training as a carrier based fighter and helicopter pilot in the US Marine Corps. Mr. Juvonen is active in numerous aviation professional organizations.

 

George Mehm

George Mehm is Senior VP, CFO and Treasurer of US Helicopter Corporation, a scheduled carrier serving New York and an adjunct consultant to The Arvai Group.  He has provided a broad range of consulting services in the transportation, services and professional industries. He specializes in advising clients on restructuring, bankruptcy, aircraft financing, including engines and equipment, accounting, tax, operations, contract administration. His efforts have been recognized in the Turnaround of 1998 award by the New Jersey Turnaround Management Association.

Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Mehm served as Senior Director - Corporate Finance for Pan American World Airways. During his career at Pan Am, his responsibilities included company wide corporate finance, cash forecasting, acquisition of aircraft, engines and equipment, restructuring, pension plans and group insurance.

Prior to joining Pan Am, Mr. Mehm held several financial positions with The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, Inc., including Manager - Corporate Finance and Pension Investments, and Manager - Group Insurance Financing. While at A&P, he was responsible for company-wide bank relations, corporate finance, cash management, pensions, and corporate investments.

Mr. Mehm holds MBA and BA degrees from Seton Hall University, and is active in local charitable and civic activities.

Bernadette G. Reiter

Ms. Reiter has more than 25 years in leading-edge software design and implementation. She has extensive experience in the travel and travel distribution industries, and has implemented graphical and intelligent front-end client-server systems for GDS, CRS, departure control and flight operations applications. She has also designed and implemented fully integrated airline systems, including reservations, real-time yield management, airport operations, and customized personalization based on itinerary data.

Berni has pioneered technologies in the field of object-oriented programming tools, large scale integration of heterogeneous computer systems, advanced database management architectures, and integrating and enhancing legacy systems with modern technologies. She also pioneered natural language, interactive video, and artificial intelligence applications in computer based training.

Ms. Reiter received an award from the Object Management Group for outstanding contributions to the field of object-oriented programming. She holds several technology patents, and has developed proprietary technology that enables an order of magnitude improvement in programming productivity.

Berni holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University.

William C. Farrell

Dr. Farrell is a senior financial executive with airline, investment banking and insurance industry experience. Bill specializes in financial management, corporate development transactions, due diligence and planning activities.

Bill has recently held senior management positions in the insurance industry with Alea Group and Reliance Insurance, and led groups with charters to create innovative products for commercial applications.
Previously, Bill was a Vice President at Kidder, Peabody in New York, specializing in aviation investment banking. He was also formerly Vice President Corporate Planning at Western Airlines after a period as Assistant Treasurer - Corporate Finance at the same carrier. He held key responsibilities in re-engineering Western into a profitable organization and selling the company to Delta Air Lines.

Bill also has consulting experience in the Operations Research Group at Arthur D. Little, Inc. and began his business career at American Airlines, where he designed the first yield management system in the industry. He has taught at several Universities.

Dr. Farrell received BA, MBA and Ph. D. degrees in Business, with a concentration in Operations Research, from the University of California at Los Angeles.

 

George A. Warde

George Warde is a noted senior executive with more than 40 years leadership experience in the airline and aviation industry. During his distinguished career, Mr. Warde has been President and COO of American Airlines, President of Continental Airlines, President of Continental Air Micronesia and President of Airbus Industrie of North America and Senior Vice President and Board Member of Airbus Industrie in Toulouse, France.

Mr. Warde has also served as Managing Director of Foshing Airlines in Taiwan, where he was responsible for the start-up of operations, and as General Manager of Casino Express Airlines, which he build from a small operation to a leader in the charter and scheduled low cost airline sector.

Mr. Warde specializes in Strategy, Corporate Development and Corporate Governance. George serves as a Director of several corporations, and is active in several aviation professional organizations.
